| Summary: |
In the late 1890s Coogee was a thriving agricultural district, and ran a popular agricultural show each year in February. Pictured is the Coogee Agricultural Hall, build in 1897, with several horses, carts, and groups of people outside, all gathered for the fourth annual Coogee Agricultural Show. The Hall was situated on Rockingham Road (now Cockburn Road), near Woodman Point. [LH.1273] |
