Summary: Wedding of Agnes De San Miguel to George Frederick Powell, 1910. The De San Miguel family came to WA in the mid-1800s and flourished in the Rockingham district. George Powell was the son of Walter and Letitia Powell (d.1901), who ran the Coogee Hotel. The families were already connected: George's uncle Frank had married Agnes's sister Harriet in 1901.To the right of the bride is her sister, Harriet Powell. The smaller children are most likely the children of Frank and Harriet, and the older girl in amongst them wearing the while frilly hat may be George's youngest sister Florence (b.1897).
